Standard decorated booth exhibitors are not permitted to paint booth panels, nail, drill or make structural alterations. Exhibitors requiring assistance with hanging or displaying exhibits should contact Pico. Exhibitors are responsible for costs arising from damage to booth structures, floor covering or light fittings caused by themselves, contractors, staff or representatives.

5.3 Raw Booth Space

Raw booth space is floor space only. It does not include utilities, services, walls, carpeting or furnishings. Exhibitors may appoint their own contractor to construct and design the booth within the allocated space, subject to SEMI, Pico, venue and safety approvals.

Exhibitors contracted for raw space must submit final booth plans to Pico & SEMI by 16 October 2026 for review.

Important: Raw space booths in Level 5 must use PVC sheet and plywood underlay to protect venue carpet.

5.4 Booth Approval Procedure and EAC Requirements

Raw space exhibitors must upload booth drawings, appointed contractor details, and applicable safety certificates to Pico by 16 October 2026. Contractors must have layout plans available on-site for review by SEMI, PICO, the Fire Safety Bureau and the venue owner.

The Exhibitor Appointed Contractor is responsible for injury, loss or damage caused by its work, staff, workers or subcontractors. The EAC must not solicit business on the exhibit floor and must restrict corporate identity to the booth area being serviced.

5.5 Height, Wall and Structural Rules

The maximum booth height is 6 metres. PE endorsement is required for booth structures 5.01 m and above in height, for structures bearing substantial load on ceiling hanging points, or for ground truss systems and other elevated structures exerting load on the ground.

All booths except island configurations must provide full back and side walls with a minimum height of 2.44 m. Exposed sides of walls facing neighbouring booths above 2.44 m must be finished in white and must not include company identification. Branding on these walls is discouraged and, if necessary, must be set back at least 1 m from adjoining stands and is subject to SEMI approval.

Each open side of a booth should not have wall coverage of more than 50 percent in length. Booth structures must be structurally sound. Cabling, ceiling suspensions, and hanging signs require approval from SEMI, the venue owner and the relevant contractor.

5.6 Heavy Exhibits, Machinery and Special Items

Exhibits with net weight from 100 kg and above require approval from the venue owner. Exhibitors should provide dimensions, net weight, operating conditions, static or dynamic loading information, equipment footprint, catalogue or specifications, and booth layout showing machine positions. Drones and remote-controlled flying objects are not permitted within the THISKYHALL SALA premises.

Helium balloons and blimps require approval by SEMI and the venue owner on a case-by-case basis 30 days before move-in. Normal helium balloons for giveaway or decorative purposes are strictly not allowed.

5.7 Performance Bond and Administrative Fee

Before the nominated booth contractor is permitted to start work in the hall, the appointed booth contractor or employing exhibitor must pay the refundable performance bond and sign the required undertaking. The performance bond will be returned within 30 days after the exhibition if all stipulated rules and regulations are complied with.

5.8 Fire, Safety and Hazardous Materials

All materials used in construction and decoration must be non-combustible or fire-retardant according to applicable local fire requirements. False ceilings and canopies must use water-penetrable materials. Storage of flammable materials, packing materials or brochures behind perimeter booth walls or designated service areas is not allowed without prior written approval.

Hazardous items such as evacuated containers, radioactive materials, X-ray producing equipment, high voltage equipment, particle accelerators, flammable and explosive materials, and gas tanks or cylinders must be properly safeguarded, protected and approved by relevant authorities before installation.

5.9 Installation, Dismantling and Technical Services

Installation and dismantling hours are listed in Section 2 of this manual. Extended hours for set-up may be requested at the Show Management Office before 15:00, subject to additional overtime charges. Exhibitors must maintain their exhibit intact until the close of the exhibition.

Electrical, compressed air, water, drainage and technical installations must be ordered through the appropriate Pico order forms or service channels. Exhibitors are prohibited from installing their own connections to floor boxes. All power main installations from source to outlet must be carried out by the official electrical contractor, Pico.

The standard electrical current supplies available are single-phase alternating current at 220 volts, 50 Hz, and three-phase with neutral alternating current at 380 volts, 50 Hz. Exhibitors with high electrical demand equipment must provide starting load, running load, heater loading, and machine concurrency information.

5.10 Exhibitor Responsibilities and Liability

The exhibitor assumes full financial liability for damage to the facility or neighbouring exhibits caused by booth construction, appointed contractors, staff or representatives. Exhibitors must not apply paint, lacquer, adhesives or other coating to building columns, walls or floors.

The exhibitor may not assign, sublet or resell contracted space in whole or in part. Shared use with affiliated co-exhibitors must comply with exhibitor conditions and rules. The primary exhibiting company remains primarily liable for all financial and performance obligations.

Theft or damage should be reported immediately to Security and Show Management. Exhibitors should ensure appropriate insurance coverage for shipment, exhibition period, and return shipment.
